Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic piece of United States Naval Aviation history. This vintage 1960s wool cap belonged exclusively to a Commanding Officer (CO) of Patrol Squadron 44 (VP-44), famously known as the "Golden Pelicans."

- **Commanding Officer Status:** Features the original "CO" felt lettering on the back and gorgeous gold bullion "scrambled eggs" (oak leaf) embroidery on the brim, strictly designated for the squadron's commander.
- **Elite Manufacturer:** Made by the highly collectible maker "Harvard designed by N. Rice." Known for premium quality, structured wool crowns, and iconic green under-brim fabric.
