Large mixed military grouping centered around an original WWII U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sergeant uniform set, with additional Vietnam-era, Soviet, and German militaria. The WWII USAAF portion includes a brown enlisted service coat with Staff Sergeant chevrons, Army Air Forces shoulder insignia, overseas service bars, period collar insignia, brown trousers, khaki garments, and an A-9 flight cap, size Medium. The USAAF pieces are believed to have belonged to the same serviceman. The service coat has interior identification/laundry markings that appear to read “R-6028.” There is also faded handwritten identification that may read “Camell,” “Cammell,” or similar, but the serviceman has not been positively identified. The uniform shows period wear and age consistent with WWII-era use.
