Works Vintage Toastswell 375 The Executive MCM Chrome Toaster

Uncommon mid-century modern Toastswell "The Executive" two-slice electric toaster, Cat. No. 375, manufactured by The Toastswell Co. Its polished chrome housing, sharply angular profile, black side supports, and gold control panel give it a distinctive space-age appearance. Tested and working.

The front features a vertical black operating lever and a red toast-darkness selector marked Lighter and Darker. The original black-and-white woven power cord is present. An unusual piece of its history survives on the back: an old parcel-post merchandise label, taped directly to the toaster, addressed to a recipient in Yakima, Washington. This suggests the toaster itself was shipped without a conventional outer box, an interesting bit of period postal Toastswell
