A compelling set for anyone interested in history of the US Presidents including the 50-year old 1974 Watergate Transcript LA Times Newspaper article AND a historic 1963/64 US Presidents Commemorative Tin issued shortly after the Kennedy Assassination.
I've marked these as used but are all original NOS, carefully stored for over 50 years by one owner.
This includes:
1. The Complete text of the 1974 Watergate Transcript, which forms a 'book' which had been an insert in the newspaper. This is in good shape overall, although the old newspaper shows signs of wear and storage. No marks.
2. A US Presidents Commemorative Tin/Kennedy Assassination Tin:
This round covered 10” diameter x 3” high tin was issued in late 1963 or early 1964, shortly after the Kennedy assassination. Note that the cover pictures are only part of the story! The round side of this tin is covered with pictures and dates of each US President since Washington. The cover shows paint wear, but the inside is in very good shape. This tin was purchased many years ago, guaranteed authentic.
GIVE YOUR KIDS A FUN HISTORY LESSON: One of our friends used a similar tin for an educational purpose. Each child in the family had to name a few presidents to get a cookie from the tin. By the time their kids were in first grade they had each memorized the pictures and dates for each US President.
