Included: Service jacket, trousers, garrison World War II-era United States Army Air Forces sergeant uniform grouping featuring a four-pocket military service jacket, olive-drab trousers, and matching-style garrison cap.
The jacket features embroidered Seventh Air Force shoulder insignia, additional Army Air Forces insignia, sergeant rank chevrons on both sleeves, military brass eagle buttons, a ribbon bar, and other period-style uniform details. The jacket has four front flap pockets, a notched collar, shoulder straps, and a lined interior.
The accompanying trousers have a sewn manufacturer label marked "N 415," "1942," and "MADE IN AUSTRALIA." They feature a button-fly closure, belt loops, and military-style construction. The waistband label does not show a clearly marked numerical size.
Also included is an olive-drab garrison cap with colored piping, contrasting interior lining, and leather-like sweatband.
An interesting WWII military clothing grouping for collectors of United States Army Air Forces memorabilia, Seventh Air Force history, Pacific Theater militaria, and original wartime uniforms.
The 1942 Australian manufacture is confirmed on the trousers. The manufacturing origins of the jacket and cap have not been independently established, and the pieces have not been documented as originally issued together.
