This is a bright and beautiful antique double wedding ring quilt. There is a wide collection of feedsack prints from 1920-1949. All hand pieced with tiny, even hand quilting at 16 stitches per inch. The rings are quilted with a diagonal grid. The squares between the rings are nile green and purple, adding more pops of collor. The background fabric and backing are cream muslin. The yellow binding is machine stitched on the front and hand stitched on the reverse. The four edges are scallopped. The filing is probably a flannel blanket as the quilt is thin and flat.All four sides are scalloped
There are some storage stains, see pictures 12-16. You do have to look close to see them.
This quilt is gorgeous, a wonderful example of depression era quilt making expertise!
