Vtg Adlake “Reliable” Railroad Lantern – CM&StP Ry (Milwaukee Road) – Electrified Accent Lamp
Up for sale is an authentic Adams & Westlake (Adlake) Reliable tall-globe railroad lantern originally used by the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway (Milwaukee Road). Based on the patent dates and manufacturing details, this lantern dates to approximately 1913–1920.
The lantern has been professionally converted into a unique electric accent lamp while retaining its original railroad character. It is fitted with a vintage Rodale Bakelite inline switch, matching vintage plug, and includes a neon flicker-flame bulb that recreates the warm appearance of an original oil flame.

Condition
Excellent antique condition. The metal frame retains a beautiful natural aged patina with light oxidation and expected wear from decades of service. The stamped markings remain crisp and highly legible. The etched globe is original and free of major chips or cracks.
