incredibly rare, authentic piece of classic Hollywood studio history: a limited edition, handcrafted Casablanca commemorative mirror produced by The Burbank Studios between 1976 and 1977.
This beautiful octagonal mirror features the iconic quote "Here's looking at you, kid..." screen-printed beautifully in vintage red and brown lettering, alongside the official "The Burbank Studios 1976/1977" logo.
Historical Provenance:
During this specific era (1972–1990), Warner Bros. and Columbia Pictures combined their production facilities to form "The Burbank Studios" joint venture. This piece was custom-commissioned and executed by Furbank Studios as a highly restricted run of only 350 pieces.
The original backing paper is completely intact on the reverse side, showing its low-number registration (#030 out of 350). The label details its creation and features original printed presentation signatures from prominent studio management personnel of the era, including Robert K. Hagel (former President of The Burbank Studios) and Bob Frederick.
Condition:
• Front Glass & Graphics: The screen-printed graphics remain crisp, vibrant, and highly legible with distinct, nostalgic styling. The reflective glass holds a great mirror finish. See photos.
• Wooden Frame: The solid wood octagonal frame shows minor, expected vintage wear that adds excellent character to the piece.
• Backing Label: The critical authentication label is present, though it shows typical age-related paper toning and spotting (please reference the photos for exact details).
This is an absolute must-have for classic cinema fans, Casablanca enthusiasts, or anyone collecting historic memorabilia from the golden era of Warner Bros. and Columbia production history.
