No chips or cracks in the glass.The glass shade measures approximately 5-1/4" tall.The top opening (that attaches to the lamp) has an opening of 1-1/2" in diameter.Including the lip, the opening is 2-1/8".The opposite end is 3-3/8" in diameter.It has a diamond & square pattern.The inside of the shade is not smooth meaning the exterior pattern is pressed so the inside has the opposite pattern of the outside.Smoke-free home.
