Original vintage firefighting nozzle/playpipe manufactured by W.S. Darley & Co., Chicago, U.S.A.
This is a substantial piece of vintage firefighting equipment featuring heavy brass construction, dual side handles, a red woven grip covering, and brass nozzle tip.
The lower brass body is clearly marked:
W.S. DARLEY & CO.
CHICAGO, U.S.A.
Measurements & Weight:

- Large threaded female inlet measures approximately 2½ inches across; please review measurement photos for exact sizing and compatibility.
The nozzle shows age and use consistent with vintage firefighting equipment, including scratches, scuffs, discoloration, patina, oxidation, surface wear, and wear/staining to the woven grip. Interior shows age and use as pictured.
It has not been cleaned or polished, preserving its existing patina.
