For anyone who takes a moment to browse through my store listings, you\'ll find I have thousands of collector plates listed. For me, this plate is a different sort of listing than most of the others in that it reminds me of my grandparents. My grandparents loved to travel and had great fun along the way collecting souvenir plates featuring artwork from the different places they visited. My Grandma Margaret had all of them neatly displayed around their kitchen and dining room. My Grandpa Henry enjoyed helping her find them and the collection was a bit like a travel photo album for them - a way to reminisce. My hope is that this plate will have a chance to find its way to the home of someone who will appreciate it and have a place for it to be displayed.
This vintage souvenir plate showcases the Holliwell Bridge which was built in 1880. The graphics are crisp and clear and there\'s really good descriptive information on the back of the plate. This one is a rare find. The approximate diameter is 10-inches. Condition is very good with any imperfections being minor making this plate a great gift choice or a lovely addition for a collector.
