Vintage Montgomery Ward Powr-Kraft small bench anvil, model 84-5401, with V58 cast into the side. Features a tapered horn, rectangular working face, round hole near the heel and a four-foot base with mounting slots. The original Powr-Kraft/Montgomery Ward label remains partially intact, adding character for a vintage tool collection or workshop display. Approximately 8 1/2 inches long, 2 1/8 inches across the face and 3 3/4 inches tall, based on the photographed measurements.
Used condition with considerable finish loss, chipped and flaking silver-colored coating, scattered surface rust, scratches, pitting and marks from prior use. The label is worn with missing sections. The working face and edges show wear; please inspect the close-up photos. Metal composition, hardness and rebound have not been tested, and no weight is provided.
