• Dayton pattern: squared poll, straight top line, flared bit
• 35 in overall length
• Curved wood handle with a darkened swell at the end
• Head is tight on the handle with no movement
• Cutting edge is sharp
Condition: This is an older working axe that has been restored. The head has been polished bright on both sides. Light pitting and scratches from age and use remain and are shown clearly in the photos. The stamp is crisp and easy to read. I'm not sure whether the handle is original or a later replacement, so please judge it from the photos.
