Vintage Pauline Leidel-Spreen Christmas Angel/tree topper, hand made in West Germany.
This approximately 10" tall Angel features a delicate handmade was head and hands, hand-painted blue eyes and facial details, long blonde hair, wire halo, metallic gold wings and a layered white-and-gold lace costume.
Inside the skirt is the original colorful Pauline Leidel-Spreen maker emblem along with "Hand Made in Germany".
She comes in what appears to be her original presentation/storage box, with gold-star patterned interior backing.
The Angel remains attached in her original construction. Because of the fragile nature of the was and the original wire attachment. I have not attempted to disassemble, clean, repair or otherwise alter her.
