Vintage Narumi Bone China White Porcelain Leaf Design Salad Bowl Serving Japan
This vintage Narumi bone china salad bowl features an elegant organic leaf‑shaped form, a glossy white glaze, and smooth flowing contours typical of late‑1960s Japanese porcelain design. Crafted with high‑quality bone china, the piece displays beautiful reflective sheen and a refined sculptural silhouette—perfect for serving, display, or collection.
Narumi is historically significant as the very first company in Japan to successfully mass-produce fine bone china, achieving a landmark domestic patent for their process in 1965. Narumi manufactured this particular organic leaf mold both for their own boutique distribution and as a major contract manufacturer for elite high-end designer dinnerware lines (most notably their extensive 1970s–1980s design partnership with Larry Laslo).

Item\'s Condition:This beautiful collectible piece is in excellent pre-loved vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or rim damage. There is one small chip on the inside of the base, noted for accuracy. The white glaze remains glossy, reflective, and free of utensil marks or cloudiness.
