Description:
This is a vintage Michelob lighted bar sign in the classic family-crest shield design, likely from the 1970s or 1980s. The shield is split into sections. The top has a red panel with a drinking horn and a gold panel with a green hop cone and barley. Below those, a raised \"MICHELOB\" nameplate sits over a black lower shield with gold scrollwork, a red ribbon, and the Anheuser-Busch A-and-eagle emblem, finished with a \"SINCE 1896\" banner at the base. The textured red and amber lenses glow nicely when lit.
Condition: Good vintage condition and the light works. The sign shows its age: scuffs and wear to the gold and chrome-tone finish, a few small marks and chips, and general surface wear. It is not mint, but it displays well and has plenty of authentic bar character. Please review all photos closely, since they are part of the description.
