Vintage set of 3 Korean wooden folk art figurines, hand-carved and hand-painted in colorful traditional-style clothing. Each figure is mounted on a small wooden base with a slotted block at the back, designed to hold a place card, name card, memo, or small photo.
The set includes three different figures, including a particularly charming mother carrying a child on her back. The figures feature bright painted details, stylized facial features, floral decoration, and traditional Korean-inspired dress.
These appear to be mid-century Korean folk art souvenir/collectible pieces, likely dating from approximately the 1950s–1970s. No maker’s mark or exact production date was found on this set, so the age is estimated based on comparable examples.
Approximate size: about 3–3.25 inches tall each
Total weight: approximately 1.3 oz for all three
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with visible age-related wear, light paint loss, small surface marks, and natural irregularities from hand carving and hand painting. Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition and details.
A colorful and unusual set for collectors of Korean folk art, Asian decor, vintage miniatures, hand-painted wooden figures, or place card holders.
