Handcrafted from thin repoussé silver sheet metal, this piece features vibrant, multi-colored vitreous enamelling in shades of royal blue, emerald green, and pink lotus petal motifs, accented with hanging faux pearl and bead fringe along the canopy and elephant\'s neck.
Design: Features a mahout (driver) in front and a royal figure seated under an ornate canopy (howdah). The underside of the base showcases an intricate, hammered silver floral repoussé pattern.
Dimensions: Measures approximately 4 inches in height.
Material: Silver with hand-applied vitreous enamel.
Condition Report:
Structure: The piece is structurally complete, but there is noticeable seam separation/splitting along the bottom edge where the top enamelled platform joins the bottom silver base plate.
