Ip for sale is a gorgeous, highly collectible 4-piece vintage sewing set manufactured by the renowned Halcyon Days Enamels (Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival) in England. This exquisite set features a cohesive, beautifully detailed hand-painted botanical vine pattern in shades of green and pink over a cream enameled background with brilliant gold-tone brass mountings.
Because this set retains its original manufacturer presentation boxes, it represents a prime finding for serious collectors of fine English enamels and antique-style sewing notions.
The 4-Piece Set Includes:
1. Pin Cushion: Features a vibrant pink plush fabric top set into an enameled base.
2. Needle Case / Etui: Threaded design that unscrews securely at the waist to protect hand-sewing needles.
3. Retractable Tape Measure: Fitted with a gold-tone brass mechanical winding handle on top to cleanly retract the tape.
4. Thimble: Matching enameled finger thimble with pristine gold-polished interior trim.
Condition Notes:
• Enamel & Brass: Excellent vintage condition. No visible cracks, hairline fractures, chips, or repairs to the enamel work. Brass retains its bright polish.
• Functionality: Tape measure pulls smoothly and winds back tightly. The needle case threads securely.
• Boxes: Original presentation boxes are included and structurally sound (please see photos for minor edge shelf wear on two smaller boxes & considerable wear to larger boxes). Please feel free to message me with any questions & view all pictures carefully as they are part of the description.
