Up for sale is a beautiful vintage GBD Autumn Gold estate tobacco pipe in the highly desirable 1439 Bent Dublin shape.This model features a stunning flared Dublin bowl with a deep, graceful bend that feels excellent in the hand. The Autumn Gold line is famous for its warm, fall-inspired finish and its gorgeous, multi-piece decorative accent band (textured briar sandwiched between two polished metallic rings).Key Features & Condition Details:
• Stamps & Markings: Sharp and completely legible. Features the crisp round "GBD" logo over "AUTUMN GOLD", the shape number "1439" on the wood shank, and "ITALY" stamped on the stem.
• The Stem: Fitted with the signature GBD amber/tortoiseshell acrylic stem. Acrylic does not oxidize or turn green like vulcanite. The button and lip are in very good condition with no deep tooth marks or severe bite wear.
• Internal Airway: Shows some typical dark tar/carbon discoloration visible through the transparent amber acrylic stem, which can be easily cleaned out with standard pipe cleaners and high-proof alcohol.
