Santons Bourges St. Remy de Provence , Set of 2 Unpainted Figurines
Beautiful, matching 2-piece set of traditional French Santons crafted by the renowned Santons Bourges workshop in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France.
These are "santons bruts" (raw, unpainted terracotta figurines). Leaving the clay unpainted showcases the exquisite, detailed artistry and textures of the artisan molds, giving them a timeless, rustic elegance perfect for a minimalist Christmas crèche or a year-round folk art display.

•Femme aux Oies (Woman with Geese) Features a traditional country woman tending to a pair of geese at her feet.
•Le Moine (The Monk / Friar) Depicts a monastic figure in a hooded robe cinched with a classic knotted rope cord.
Both figures measure about 3-1/4"
The "Bourges St. Remy de Provence" circular artisan stamp is clearly visible on the underside base of the pieces, ensuring their authenticity.
