Vintage Evans USA Mother of Pearl Rhinestone Powder Compact & Matching Cigarette Lighter Set in Original Box
Beautiful mid-century Evans vanity set featuring a square gold-tone powder compact and matching petite cigarette lighter. Both pieces have geometric mother-of-pearl (MOP) tile inlay surrounding a central cluster of multi-colored baguette rhinestones in pink, green, blue, and other shades. Classic 1950s glam style.
Includes:
• Evans powder compact with mirror and powder well
• Matching Evans cigarette lighter
• Original Evans presentation box with crest logo
• Original fabric pouches/puffs
Markings: Stamped “Evans USA” inside the compact.
Condition:
Good vintage condition. Compact shows some residual powder in the well (easily cleaned if desired). Mother-of-pearl tiles and rhinestones appear intact with nice iridescence. Gold-tone metal has light age-appropriate wear. Box shows some surface staining/wear consistent with age but is complete and structurally sound. Lighter has not been tested with fluid (will ship empty per regulations). Please examine all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
This is a complete boxed set — highly desirable for Evans collectors, mid-century modern vanity collectors, or display.
