Vintage DURO Decorative Decals metal store display box, made by Duro Decal Co., Inc., Chicago, Illinois.
This is a great piece of vintage American advertising with an eye-catching original red finish and bold gold and black “DURO Decorative Decals” lettering on the front. The box retains its original divided interior, designed for organizing and displaying Duro’s decorative decal products in a retail store.
The box has a hinged lid and sturdy metal construction. It displays very nicely and would make an excellent addition to a collection of vintage advertising, general store displays, automotive memorabilia, decals, signs, or Chicago advertising.
It remains in very good vintage condition with strong graphics and color. There are scratches, paint loss, surface oxidation/rust spotting, edge and corner wear, and other signs of age and use. The interior also shows normal age-related wear. No restoration or repainting. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the description.
A very attractive and increasingly hard-to-find original DURO dealer/store display box.
