This authentic 6" vintage model totem pole is hand-carved and hand-painted by celebrated Tsimshian master carver Conrad Mather (1931–2020) in Ketchikan, Alaska. The plank-style miniature features a traditional three-figure stack including a Thunderbird, Killer Whale, and Beaver, mounted securely to a natural wood-slice base with its original bark completely intact. The reverse side features a crisp, clear maker's stamp reading "GENUINE ALASKAN INDIAN MADE / CONRAD MATHER / KETCHIKAN" along with a charming vintage pencil price mark ($3.95) on the back of the wing. This highly collectible piece of Pacific Northwest Coast Native art is in excellent vintage condition with vibrant polychrome paint and minimal wear, making it a perfect addition to any Native American art collection.
