Striking vintage 1980s Claudia Shuride teapot designed for The Toscany Collection, Japan. This distinctive piece features a rich terracotta/rust glaze with a streamlined sculptural form, long tapered spout, oversized circular loop handle and coordinating fitted lid.
The underside features the raised Claudia Shuride signature and retains its original Toscany Collection Japan paper label, both excellent identifying features. Shuride’s Toscany designs are associated with the bold Postmodern/Memphis-era aesthetic of the 1980s.
