Charming vintage Chocolat Menier ceramic coffee mug set in the iconic bright yellow with blue accents – a classic piece of French advertising history! These delightful mugs feature the famous illustration by artist Firmin Bouisset (circa 1893), showing a little girl writing “ÉVITER LES CONTREFAÇONS” (“Avoid Counterfeits”) on the side. Menier was one of France’s pioneering chocolate brands (founded 1816), famous for innovative marketing that made this cheerful girl their mascot. These yellow ceramic items (bowls, pots, pitchers, etc.) were produced as promotional or collectible kitchenware, often by Editions Clouet under Nestlé.
