Vintage Chinese Collectible Pen - Taipei National Palace Museum - with wooden box
Pen's barrel has subtle glossy images of Chinese characters.
Taipei, Taiwan National Palace Museum has a revered collection of antiquities from mainland China.
Interesting fact is that the real estate around the museum is extremely expensive as the population feels that China will not bomb the area in fear of destroying the museum with so many priceless Chinese artifacts.
I purchased the pen when I was there about 10 years ago.
Pen is held into presentation box by an elastic cord in corner. Presentation box is not original to the pen purchase - repurposed Nautical box with metal tape over logo and subtle logo on inside of box top.
Working unused pen - the ink cartridge has been replaced as original dried out.
