Small wooden trinket box (suspected to be burlwood?) with a beautiful veneer and inlaid border on the lid. The interior features charming vintage-style ephemera with cat and dog illustrations from "Geo. D. Trawin Dry Goods and Notions," which are loose and not glued in, allowing for customization. This compact box is perfect for storing small jewelry, stamps, or keepsakes. It shows character with a light pencil mark on the bottom and minor surface wear consistent with age, including a faint scratch on the lid.
