A fantastic old railway display piece with an orange/red enamel background, raised-looking white and black lettering, and substantial authentic age and wear. The surface has developed excellent industrial character with enamel loss, oxidation, impact marks, scratches and edge wear “PLATFORM 1”

This is a genuinely worn vintage piece, not a pristine reproduction-style sign.
There is substantial enamel loss, surface wear, rust/oxidation, scratches, edge wear and numerous small impact marks/holes across the face. Some of these resemble projectile or bullet-type impact marks, but their exact cause is unknown.
The wear is part of the character of the piece and gives it a fantastic aged industrial appearance.
