E.P. COPPER 1890-1 • ORIGINAL BIRKS STORAGE BAG
Offered here is a handsome vintage BIRKS Jewellers cocktail shaker / mixer, crafted in electroplated silver over copper and accompanied by its original blue BIRKS Jewellers drawstring storage bag.
This is an especially attractive piece of vintage barware with a distinctive compact design. It features a cylindrical body, rounded shoulder, tall removable upper lid, elegant loop handle and angled pouring spout with its original removable cap.
The underside is stamped with a maker's/device mark and:
E.P. COPPER
1890-1
“E.P. Copper” denotes an electroplated finish over a copper base. This piece is silver plate, not sterling silver. The number 1890-1 appears to be a model/pattern number and should not be interpreted as the year of manufacture.

CONDITION
Good vintage condition with attractive age-related character. The silver-plated surface exhibits tarnish/patina, fine scratches, finish variation and areas of plating wear, as visible in the photographs.
The piece has not been aggressively polished, which helps preserve its existing vintage surface. Please examine all photographs carefully for the most accurate representation of condition.
The original Birks storage bag also shows age and use consistent with its vintage nature.
