A striking matched pair of mid-century German wall plaques by Achatit, depicting a young man and woman in profile, gazing toward one another. Cast in Achatit's signature material — a fine blend of ground rock and wood flour — then hand-finished to beautifully mimic the look of richly carved dark wood, with warm mahogany-brown tones and a glossy, polished patina on the faces.
