Up for sale is a stunning, beautifully polished 2-piece natural agate specimen lot, found together as a matched locality set. These two pieces feature incredible contrast, vivid color palettes, and brilliant professional polishes, making them an exceptional addition to any rock, mineral, or lapidary collection. Please note:I know very little about these other than that they were found together and left to me as a \"matched\" pair. Feel free to message me with any questions.Because they were discovered together, they offer an exciting geological puzzle for collectors trying to trace their exact origin, perfectly showcasing traits of prized old-stock Montana Dryhead, Mexican Laguna, or Kentucky Agate. This listing is set at a fixed price, but reasonable offers are welcome!💎 Specimen 1: Large Banded Slab / Bookend Style
- Size & Weight: Generous 2 lbs. 6 oz. Measures approximately 4.5\" x 4\" at its widest base points and tallest peak.
- Natural Features: The larger Freeform specimin is a massive heavy 2.5lb freeform display block. Cut & polished on three structural sides to showcase broad, layered agate bands & a prominent natural quartz/crystal vein running through the heart of the stone. Stands perfectly on its own.
- Natural Features: Features a beautiful, rustic, crystal-line vug/pocket naturally tucked into the lower base of one side.
- Condition Note (Transparency): Under direct, bright sunlight or at sharp angles, some faint, microscopic white surface scuffs/natural micro-fissures are visible on the polished face (fully disclosed and visible in direct sunlight photos). They are incredibly faint under normal indoor display conditions but noted for 100% honesty. The rugged matrix rock remaining provides an excellent natural contrast.
💎 Specimen 2: Polished Agate Nodule Half
- Size: Approximately 3.75\" x 2.5\" (widest point), 1.5\" (narrowest point), with a 1 3/4\" to 2\" depth.

At the center is a highly desirable \"floating fortification eye\" framing a pristine, sparkling quartz druzy pocket cavity. The face has been professionally lapped to a mirror-like, high-gloss shine that beautifully catches the light.
- Condition: Excellent lapidary polish on the front face, with the natural, rugged matrix rock left intact on the back for a great contrast.
