DescriptionA charming vintage 1998 porcelain collector doll manufactured by The Danbury Mint and designed by artist Nancy Leslie, capturing the iconic Morton Salt Girl (\"When It Rains It Pours\"). Standing approximately 16 inches tall, this lovely doll features fine bisque porcelain head, arms, and legs with a soft body, detailed facial features, and blonde curly hair. She is dressed in her classic yellow dress with white collar and socks, holding a miniature replica Morton Salt box in one arm and an open miniature umbrella in the other.
Note for Collectors: Under a UV black light, this doll\'s glass eyes exhibit a striking, bright fluorescent glow—a unique optical trait found in certain vintage collector dolls crafted with specialized mineral, metallic oxide, or vintage glass colorant properties (similar to the reactive properties sought after by uranium and cadmium glass enthusiasts). Back of the neck is marked © Morton International, Inc., 1998, under license from Morton Salt, © MBI. A wonderful and unusual display piece for collectors of advertising memorabilia or specialty porcelain dolls.
Excellent vintage display condition with clean clothing and well-preserved porcelain. Weighs 2.62 lbs unboxed. Complete with umbrella, salt container, and display stand. Features the notable black light UV-reactive eye glow. Please review all photos for exact details.
