VINTAGE 1964 MODESS CONTOUR BELT – NEW OLD STOCK IN ORIGINAL BOXThis is a genuine 1960s Modess Contour Belt, made by Personal Products Company of Milltown, New Jersey, a Johnson & Johnson company. The box carries a © 1964 copyright date. Sanitary belts like this one held pads in place for decades, until adhesive-backed pads replaced them in the 1970s. Original examples in their retail packaging are increasingly hard to find.THE BELT
• White elastic waistband with delicate pink picot (scalloped) edging
• Y-shaped "contour" design with a center tab and adjustment slide
• Two original metal prong fasteners. The box describes this as Modess's "exclusive fastener."
• Appears unused. It is still mounted on its original black cardboard display insert.THE PACKAGING

The belt appears unworn, with clean elastic and bright metal fasteners. The belt has been partially slipped off its cardboard insert at one end. The box shows age-appropriate wear: a torn top edge and opening flap, a crease and small cracks on the back panel, and general corner and edge rubbing.
