Please refer to the photos for exact item being sold.
Vintage inflatable astronaut novelty toy, likely dating to the 1960s space-race era. Features a silver astronaut design with a smiling face, blue and red suit details, and “U.S.A.” printed prominently across the helmet.
The colorful original header card reads “New Inflatable Astronaut” and features fantastic period space graphics including an astronaut, American flag, spacecraft, moon surface and Earth.
Imported by Jennie G. Sales Co., Inc., Chicago, Illinois and marked Made in Taiwan.
The astronaut is believed to stand approximately 23–24 inches tall when fully inflated. The reverse of the package includes the original inflation instructions and a warning not to over-inflate.
This example is being sold new in its original package and has not been inflated or tested by me. Because of its age, I cannot guarantee that the vinyl will hold air once inflated. It would make an excellent display piece for a collection of vintage space toys, astronaut memorabilia, NASA-era decor, novelty toys or mid-century advertising graphics.
Please review all photos closely for package condition and exactly what is included.
Sold as is due to age.
