You are offerding on a vintage1932-1935 Pierce-Arrow Motor Car Companyfired glass enamel cloisonné workcrank hole cover grille emblem badge.It has the historic Pierce family coat of arms and the classic Latin motto "DIXIT ET FECIT" ("He said and he did").This was for the 1932, 1933, 1934, and 1935 Pierce-Arrow luxury motorcars and alternately used as a crank hole cover emblem or lower radiator grille emblem depending on the specific model year.It is approximately 2-1/2" in diameter. It shows signs of wear from use and years of storage/display. It has some scratches, dings, plating wear/loss and light soiling. There is a flake/fracture in the gold glass field between the two center birds. There are some crazing/fractures/cracks in the gold above and below the red center stripe and in the two center birds. They look like they are probably from the same time the center was hit/damaged, but please be your own judge and offer accordingly.Please see the close-up pictures for the best description of the overall condition.
