Stunning Authentic 1930s Art Deco Revere \"Double Scroll\" Desk Piece
Up for sale is an exceptional, 100% authentic piece of Machine Age Art Deco design. This highly collectible double-scroll piece was designed by renowned artist Fred Farr and manufactured by the prestigious Revere Copper and Brass Company in Rome, New York.

The polished metal base underside is clearly stamped with the official maker\'s marks, including:
• \"REVERE\" manufacturer imprint
• \"U.S. PATENT DESIGN NO. 95811\" (Officially granted to Fred Farr in 1935)

Design Details:
Featuring two dramatic, spring-like coiled metal chrome scrolls flanking a solid walnut center block, this sleek piece serves beautifully as a standalone desk organizer, letter holder, book/magazine display, or single accent bookend. The center showcases its highly desirable, original circular picture medallion depicting a classic masted sailing ship at sea during a golden sunset.

Condition:
This piece is in very good vintage condition for an antique that is over 90 years old. The walnut block retains its rich, deep original finish. The chrome scrolls show a bright, highly reflective mirror shine with only minor surface scuffs consistent with age and gentle handling. The bottom features its original green protective felt (showing some typical vintage wear/peeling near the edges, but perfectly preserving the metal underneath).
