Victorian Amberina Art Glass Rib Optic Crimped Antique 5 1/4\" Rose Bowl Vase 1880-1900
This antique Victorian amberina art glass rose bowl vase is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Fleabites. It features a beautiful amber-to-ruby color transition, a striking rib optic pattern, and a gracefully crimped flower-form rim. The hand-blown construction and snapped pontil scar make it a fine example of late nineteenth-century art glass craftsmanship.
ITEM DESCRIPTION
Antique hand-blown amberina art glass rose bowl vase featuring a rib optic pattern that creates wonderful light reflection throughout the body. The vase displays rich amber coloration that gradually transitions to deep ruby red toward the rim. The elegant crimped rim forms a blooming flower shape, while the pedestal foot is integrally formed with the body from a single gather of glass. A snapped pontil scar remains visible on the underside.
