VTG Bedrock Style No 607 Size Wood Plane W/ Stanley SW Sweetheart Iron (NICE)Up for sale is a vintage 22" long Stanley Bedrock style wood plane. This is an interesting plane. It has no maker's marks but looks to have been made by Stanley for another company. Plane does come with a Stanley SW Sweetheart 2-3/8" wide iron and chip breaker. See pictures with the frog taken off, showing the first-generation style Bedrock frog. When Stanley came out with their second-generation Bedrock design, they started selling the old design in planes they would make for other companies like Winchester or Keen Kutter. I am not sure what brand this plane would be since it has no markings.
Otherwise, this is a nice usable plane that just needs sharpening. It has a nice tall iron and exotic wood handle and knob, both of which are in great shape. Plane body is in good shape and nice and solid. Overall, this plane has really good parts in good shape and would make a top-tier user-grade plane.
