• THE LINEN BACKING: Immaculate, tightly woven linen cloth backing with absolutely no water damage, age spots, or fading. Includes the original factory-installed sawtooth hanger on the reverse.

The faint, authentic rectangular glue shadow remains on the back, proving its original museum provenance beyond a shadow of a doubt (most of these paper backings fell off over time, or were removed).
