Welcome to my store.
I am offering a part of the heritage of my family and other relatives, or even close ones, and there are many objects that have been in the same hands for several years.
No doubt when you receive this good you will enjoy it as much as others did in the VINTAGE FIGGJO FLINT NORWAYSAGA LUNCHEON PLATE 8”, MCM TURI DESIGN NORSK,COUPLE & HORSE, MARKED.
Details of the piece
It was created in the 1960s by the iconic Norwegian artist Turi Gramstad Oliver (under her popular Turi-Design label).
It features a folk art style and naive illustrations using a hand-painted silkscreen technique. The central motif depicts a couple in traditional dress on a blue horse, surrounded by brightly colored geometric flowers.
Tableware from this golden age of Figgjo is highly sought-after collector\'s item worldwide by lovers of Mid-Century Modern Nordic design.
Mark Analysis and Condition.
Authenticity: The monogram \"FF\" intertwined with stylized lines corresponds to the official logo used by the factory in the 1960s and 1970s.
Origin: The inscriptions \"SAGA norsk design\" and \"norway\" confirm that it belongs to the iconic folkloric series designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver.
Cracking: \"Light cracking\" (fine lines in the glaze) is extremely common in Figgjo earthenware from this period. It occurs naturally due to the passage of time and temperature changes, which validates its age without drastically diminishing its decorative value.
Good - Circa 1965.

The item has light signs of cosmetic wear, light crackeled, but no bumps, no breaks, no loss of material, it is an iconic and vintage piece, that\'s fully operational and it will look beautiful in any furniture/collection.
