ABOUT THIS SIGN
Smokey and Bigfoot either side of a trail marker where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Sand to Snow, yucca in the foreground and San Gorgonio behind. PCT thru-hikers are a collecting crowd of their own and this is the only plate in the series that names the trail.
Marked on the face: \"Pacific Crest Trail\", \"Sand to Snow National Monument\", \"Smokey & Bigfoot\", \"DROWN EVERY FIRE - LEAVE NO SPARK\", and \"Made in U.S.A.\", the year, and \"U.S. Department of Agriculture and State of California\" around the lower rim.
Size: approximately 12\" in diameter (305 mm), measured by the seller.
CONDITION
Judge the condition from the photographs - the sign is shown from every angle, including the reverse and the mounting holes, and nothing is cropped out. On porcelain of this age, fine specking in the enamel, small chips at the edges and wear around the mounting holes are normal and are not faults. After decades of age and storage a sign may also sit slightly warped or a little bent rather than perfectly flat - it still hangs and displays fine, and you will not notice it once it is on a wall. This one is not cracked and has not been restored, repainted or touched up. Want a close-up of a particular area, or an exact measurement, before you buy? Message us and we will take it the same day.
