Stoneware crock-type casserole with brown glazed finish, and a basket weave design. I believe this is from the early 1900s. It is over 100 years old and in its original condition, no cracks or damage. This age container has some glaze pops due to the processes used in that period. Approx 5” tall and 9” across, it is marked USA on the bottom. There are two spots that DON'T look like chips on the bottom (see pictures) in the unglazed area and a light colored area on the top rim but the glaze covers this area. Given its age, original to the dish took at close up so you can see. Nothing about this dish would affect its value or usability. Great gift for a collector.
