Product Description

A traditional Iro-Tomesode formal kimono made of 100% silk, featuring an elegant landscape design created by Kenichi Okubo, a craftsman of Hon-Kaga Yuzen.

The kimono bears the artist’s signature seal (Rakkan) and features one family crest (Hitotsu-mon), embroidered with the “Maru-ni Umebachi” (Plum Blossom in a Circle) crest.

The understated cream-colored ground beautifully highlights the expansive natural landscape motif, creating a sophisticated and timeless appearance.

A one-crest Iro-Tomesode can be worn for formal occasions such as weddings, celebratory gatherings, graduation or entrance ceremonies, and other special events.

The elegant color and classic design make this a versatile piece that can be enjoyed for many years, regardless of age.

The closest traditional Japanese color name to the actual shade is “Kareno” (枯野), a soft, muted cream-beige tone reminiscent of a dry field.
