Hand-Carved Wood Sheath
Vintage fixed-blade knife made in India featuring a carved dark wood handle and matching carved wooden sheath. Both the handle and sheath have attractive leaf/floral and geometric carved decoration. Brass-tone fittings include the crossguard, sheath throat, end cap, and belt/retaining hardware.
Blade is clearly stamped INDIA.

Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Blade shows surface scratches, polishing marks, discoloration/spotting and some oxidation, particularly near the guard. Brass-tone hardware has age-related tarnish and some green oxidation. Wood shows normal scratches, finish wear and small areas of chipping/wear. No major cracks are apparent in the wood from the photographs. Sheath and hardware appear complete.
