Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1, published by Hamilton Comics in June 1995. This is the Direct Market Edition, identified on the upper-right cover box, with a $1.95 cover price. It belongs to Hamilton’s 1995 series; the publisher also released a separate Power Rangers #1 in 1994.
The cover by John Heebink pits the Rangers against a group of monsters, with the White and Red Rangers prominent in the foreground. Inside are “While the Cat’s Away!” by Don Markstein, John Heebink and Aaron McClellan, and “Unstoppable Force!” by Nat Gertler and Sparky Moore. The issue also includes a White Ranger dossier. Full color, 32 pages.
