Hand selected ,beautifully detailed, rich iridescent MULTI-COLOR rare ammolite meticulously inlaid in the chambers( camerae) of a fossil ammonite from Madgascar.
AS WITH ALL GOOD QUALITY AMMOLITE,WHEN YOU CHANGE POSITIONS OF THE SPECIMEN DIFFERENT COLORS APPEAR AT DIFFERENT ANGLES. This specimen displays blue, yellow, orange ,red , green and purple.
THIS SPECIMEN IS A REAL "WOW"!!!
Also, the quality of the ammonite is excellent: the chambers " circle to the core" in glorious detail!
Many hours of labor is necessary to make one of these beauties!
There is only one person that I know of that creates these beautiful masterpieces!
All photos taken with my iPhone, which doesn't really do this outstanding work of art justice.. It is even nicer in " real life" !
