Handcrafted at a family-owned workshop in the Italian alps, this gleaming tea kettle is crafted from a single sheet of solid copper and topped with a cast-bronze finial in the shape of a lotus, a blossom regarded in many cultures as a symbol of purity, compassion and enlightenment.

- Interior is lined with durable nonreactive tin.

Use
- Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction-compatible).
- Oven safe to 430°F.
- To protect tin lining from damage, use low to moderate heat for stovetop cooking and do not heat pan empty or at temperatures above 430°F.
- Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching the tin lining.
- When pouring hot water, use your free hand and a potholder to secure the lid.
Care
- Allow pot to cool before washing.
- Hand-wash; dry immediately with a soft cloth.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
- Copper will develop a rich patina over time.
