Extremely unusual vintage Lakeside Amusement Park decorated drinking glass from the historic Lakeside park in the Salem / Roanoke, Virginia area.
This glass features colorful character artwork including Prissy, Chip, and Lord Beaverbrook and appears to be far scarcer than typical Lakeside souvenir material.
As of now, I have been unable to locate another identical example in online searches, sold listings, collector references, or other available sources. No matching production example has surfaced during my research.
Because of its unusual decoration, apparent scarcity, and the type of estate collection it came from, this piece raises the possibility that it may have been a salesman’s sample, decorator’s proof, pre-production example, presentation piece, or limited promotional glass rather than a standard mass-produced souvenir.
