This rare vintage Palestinian water jar from Hebron is a unique and collectible piece. Handmade before 1970, this 7 inch jar with a 5-inch width showcases the craftsmanship of the West Bank region. The provenance of this item is not available, adding to its mystery and allure for collectors interested in Middle Eastern cultures and ethnicities. This water jar is a rare find and a special addition to any collection of Artifacts from the geographic region of the Levant, specifically within the West Bank (including east Jerusalem) and the Gaza Strip. When my wife inherited the jar from her mother, there was a letter in the jar that stated it was made in Hebron from a local family. It also stated that it was purchased at sale in 1970. I am not for sure, but it was possibly made by the Fakhouny family. The family name itself literally translate to \"potter\" in Arabic. And they have been making these jars in the family for five generations. Wish I could give more information on this wonderful piece of art, but that\'s all that I have been able to aquire. Thank you for looking and have a wonderful and safe day.
